Beginning in high school and continuing through early adulthood, students participate in a structured, multi-year program that combines real investment accounts, age-appropriate financial literacy, and consistent reinforcement of long-term thinking.
Students are introduced to the fundamentals of investing, the power of compounding, and responsible financial decision-making through real-world experience — not simulations. The approach is steady, transparent, and supportive, reinforcing long-term thinking over short-term outcomes.

Each participating student is enrolled beginning in 9th grade. be investED. establishes and funds an investment account on the student’s behalf, with contributions made over time to demonstrate the impact of consistency and compounding.
Alongside the investment account, students receive a structured financial literacy curriculum delivered through their school. Topics build gradually over multiple years — starting with foundational concepts and expanding as students mature and gain experience.
